Land Operations

Infantry Officer: Infantry soldiers, also known as foot soldiers, operates under the Ground Forces Command as a military specialization that engages in military combat mainly foot and at times use mounted military vehicle. Infantry Officers are responsible for command and control of infantry and combined arms units. They are also responsible for developing doctrine for infantry missions as well as instructing infantry skills at various training institutions of the BDF.



Artillery Officer: Field Artillery Officer is an expert in tactics, techniques and procedures for the deployment of fire support systems within the artillery regiment who neutralises the enemy by cannon, rocket and missile fire. They lead artillery troops and coordinate the deployment of artillery soldiers at all levels of command



Amour Officer The Armour Officers are responsible for leading troops in combat operations using armoured vehicles in a reconnaissance squadron, a tank troop or direct fire support troop.
