The following qualitative requirements shall apply: 1. Male and female Botswana Citizens. 2. Aged up to 40 years. 3. Be physically fit. 4. No adverse criminal record. 5. Candidates should be in possession of the National Identity card (Omang). 6. Minimum height of 165 cm for Males and 160 cm for Females. 7. Minimum body weight of 55 Kg for Males and 45 Kg for Females. 8. Female candidates must not be pregnant. 9. Bachelor's or Master's degrees in the following fields: | Medical Officers | Dentists | Physiotherapists | Pharmacists | Bio-Medical Engineers | Specialist Nurses | Clinical Psychologists | Veterinary Officers | Lawyers | Chaplains (Ordained Ministers) |
All candidates shall undergo a selection process which includes the following: 1. Comprehensive medical examination. 2. Anthropometry (Height, Weight and BMI). 3. Aptitude test. 4. Physical fitness assessment (2.4km run, push-ups and sit- ups). 5. Attestation.
Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to:

Successful candidates shall undergo a 6 months Basic Military Training. On completion of training, Officers must be ready to serve in various geographic locations, environmental and conditions.
